David Simons
We have been informed by Ellie, David Simons' wife, that he has passed away. David was a member of the club for a number of years before he and his wife moved to live in La Manga, Spain on a permanent basis.
David served on both CBC and GCBA committees for a number of years as Secretary and was a regular member of the county team. He was also involved with others in the initial refurbishment of the club and, with Ashok, was instrumental in starting the teaching program.
We will miss him.
Ben Britton
Ben Britton passed away 24th June, Ben, was a more regular Hereford member, but used to also play at CBC. Unfortunately, as his health deteriorated it became very difficult for him to play F2F.
Arun says he had the privilege of continuing to play with him online. He was a very pleasant and kind person and many in the club will remember him with affection. His wife Sandy will let Arun know the details of the funeral and will also pass them for the website.
